For the past two decades, Abilitie has created leadership development programs for some of the world’s largest and most admired companies. We designed our flagship program, The 12-Week MBA, to match what those companies look for in their emerging leaders. Our program is short and sweet not because it skims the surface, but because it goes deep where it counts, helping participants step up to management. Elevating the Practice of Talent Development
Bellevue University’s Human Capital Lab is a virtual community of talent development practitioners and scholars. Our goal is to advance and elevate the practice of talent development and human capital management, with a focus on four areas:
- Talent development (what we used to call human resource development and, before that, training)
- Human capital management (what we used to call HR and, before that, personnel)
- Leadership (both strategic and interpersonal leadership), and
- Distance education (because it’s not just the subject, it’s also the delivery of it).
To achieve our mission, we’re forming a Community of Practice in talent development to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing. We’re also pairing our university’s doctoral students—who are accomplished, mid-career practitioners—with employers who have research opportunities for them to complete as part of their dissertations. And, through our award-winning podcast, we’re interviewing business, organization and industry leaders to uncover insights about the impact of learning on talent development.
There is no fee for individuals or organizations to participate in the Human Capital Lab. The capital we exchange is the knowledge and experiences we share with each other.
